Kane is Able, Inc. named Rob Nemeth director of customer solutions for the third-party logistics provider. Nemeth will work to develop new business in KANE's primary markets of consumer packaged goods (CPG) logistics and food logistics.

Nemeth is a 30-year veteran of the logistics industry, having served in operations and sales positions for several logistics and distribution businesses. Most recently, he was vice president of sales for Affiliated Warehouse Companies, Inc, where he coordinated outside sales efforts with 131 public warehouse clients across North America.

According to Chris Kane, KANE's vice president of sales and marketing, "We're pleased to have someone with Rob's depth of experience. He knows CPG logistics and will work closely with our customers to develop logistics strategies that improve service and reduce costs."

Nemeth will also help spearhead KANE's collaborative distribution initiative, a program that rewards manufacturers and their retail customers for collaborating to ship and receive products from multiple vendors as part of a single shipment. KANE has dedicated a one-million-square-foot warehouse at its Scranton, PA campus to collaborative distribution.
