The deal involves acquisition of Nexus’s distribution campuses in Atlanta, Ga. and Allentown, Penn. It will give Kane’s customers expanded distribution coverage and increased capabilities, the company said. In the process, Kane boosts its total managed square footage by more than 10 percent, to 7.5 million square feet of space. Nexus will continue to operate its locations in the Chicago area.
