Fesco Russian Pacific Line is adding Tacoma, Wash. as a port of call, while introducing fortnightly service to Vladivostok and other points in the Russian Far East. The first sailing is scheduled for Nov. 17, 2011. It will depart the Port of Tacoma with a 14-day transit time to Vladivostok, carrying breakbulk, roll-on/roll-off and project cargoes. The service offers ro/ro ramps which can handle up to 120 metric tons, to accommodate such cargo as automobiles, trucks and trailers, and heavy industrial machinery. Top exports from the Pacific Northwest to the Russian Far East include vehicles and parts, mining machinery, agricultural equipment and project cargoes for oil and gas. The expanded service features calls at Everett, Wash.; Tacoma; Vladivostok; Korsakov; Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Magadan. Fesco Russian Pacific Line is a Fesco Transport Group company.
