Supply Chain Middle East Strategy Summit to Take Place on 7-8 February, 2012

November 2, 2011

Fleming Gulf Conferences, a leading business intelligence and event services company, announces its Supply Chain Middle East Strategy Summit - the fourth in the series of highly successful 'Transport & Logistics' Conferences - scheduled to take place on 7th and 8th February, 2012, in Dubai, UAE.

The Middle East has been receiving significant attention from transportation and logistics players worldwide. As a result of the substantial investments in infrastructure, investors see attractive opportunities in the logistics industry in the region. According to a study undertaken by Booz&Co, the transport and logistics market in the Middle East - encompassing ground transport, air/sea freight, freight forwarding, warehousing, and supply chain management - will have a total value of USD $27 Billion by the year 2012.

Post the hit from the recession, the need of the hour for companies is to work towards tightening and strengthening their networks. Companies in the Middle East are striving to ensure smooth operations of cross border supply chains. One of the biggest challenges faced by companies today is creating dynamic supply chains that help them achieve and maintain high performance.

The Supply Chain Middle East Strategy Summit is concerned solely with this vital subject of supply chain strategy, an area that can be essential to a firm's competitive strategy and revenue generation. It will focus on addressing the challenges in supply chain which are pertinent to the Middle East Region. It promises to work towards giving a holistic perspective to strategies which can be applied across GGC countries.

This summit will act as a platform for all senior-level supply chain managers and executives - who are or will be playing a leadership role in developing and overseeing global supply chains - to collect business intelligence and strategic insight from thought leaders and highly experienced professionals in this industry.

The learning sessions at the summit include - Identifying Solutions for Middle East companies: Core Competency of Supply Chain Management, Supply chain innovations in the post recession era, Meeting the Talent Development Challenges for Supply Chain Management,

Developing the Middle East to be a Top Choice for all Supply Chain Directors, and more.

This two-day event will house senior-level supply chain managers, managing directors, CIOs, and other senior professionals from organizations such as Lipton International, Reliance Industry Limited, General Electric, Reckitt Benckiser, Nokia, Ericsson AB, IFFCO Group of Companies, DU, and many more, to address our audience of over 100 supply chain professionals that will be present.

For more information on attending costs and sponsorship packages, please contact Natasha Jiandani - Marketing Head of Transport Conferences at Fleming Gulf - on [email protected] or +919844766782.
