Infor says that Mohawk Fine Papers has selected Infor SCM Transportation Management for its ability to facilitate automated, same-day shipping of orders and integrate with the company's Infor ERP LX system.
The solution should enable Mohawk, its transport partners, brokers and customers to have a view of transportation information, which will be used to monitor and track order progress, and provide accurate, up-to-the minute status of customer shipments.
"Infor has provided Mohawk with a single platform to procure, execute, monitor, and reconcile freight services thereby increasing the velocity and performance of our supply chain," says Paul Stamas, vice president of IT for Mohawk.
Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. manufactures a range of premium printing, writing and imaging papers.
