The Printer Systems division of Avery Dennison has partnered with RedPrairie Corp. to provide a wide range of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. Avery Dennison supplies Monarch printers and services, as well as pressure-sensitive labeling materials, office products and systems for retail tagging, ticketing and branding. RedPrairie is a vendor of supply-chain software, including warehouse-management systems. The deal combines Avery's Monarch 9855 RFID printer and encoder and supplies with RedPrairie's software. It is meant to ensure that RedPrairie's customers have reliable RFID printing and encoding capabilities with Monarch printers that are already integrated into RedPrairie software, the companies said. RedPrairie's E2e applications synchronize people and products throughout the customer buying cycle.
