SAP AG has issued a new Best Practices offering in support of SAP GRC Access Control, an application for monitoring and enforcing user access and authorization controls. The tool draws on the best-in-class implementation expertise of SAP customers and partners in the area of governance, risk and compliance (GRC). With the new application, users get out-of-the-box business processes and scenarios, pre-configuration settings, and support for accelerating the implementation of compliance systems. In a related company development, SAP has joined with the Global I.T. Services Division of Wipro Limited to develop best-in-class approaches in India, especially with regard to service-oriented architecture (SOA). Under the agreement, Wipro will become an SAP global services partner, and will set up a solutions lab in Bangalore to showcase the benefits of SOA, industry best practices and new service-delivery models.
