Under the deal, Wipro will offer Terra’s Demand Sensing and Multi-Enterprise Inventory Optimization Software as a cloud-based “business process as a service.” Terra’s products are aimed at helping companies better to predict customer demand and set optimal stock levels. According to the partners, the new on-demand offering enables quicker adoption and lower initial costs. “Wipro’s global cloud and supply chain process expertise provides an excellent platform to extend our reach and help more manufacturers gain the cash flow, earnings and balance sheet benefits of a modern demand-driven supply chain,” said Robert Byrne, chief executive officer of Terra Technology. Terra helps companies to sense demand, optimize inventory and predict transportation and warehousing requirements.
