A new strategic alliance between CargoWise edi and StockLogix is aimed at the market for warehouse-management software in the global supply chain and logistics-management industry. CargoWise is a vendor of supply-chain management systems, with a particular focus on Australia; StockLogix sells software to the third-party logistics and warehouse-management community. The arrangement combines the capabilities of StockLogix products with CargoWise's ediEnterprise software suite. CargoWise said it intends to combine the heritage of such StockLogix products as Warehouse Wizard, StockLogix and Scope Warehouse with its own flagship warehouse-management application. Matthew Pascoe, with 15 years' experience in the third-party logistics sector, will be "heavily involved" in deployment of the integrated warehouse-management products, while continuing to manage StockLogix's existing customer relationships, the companies said.
