Encore Tire Recovery, makers of a mobile tire shredding system that turns scrap tires into "environmentally friendly" products, has selected RedPrairie's Fleet Management solution to support its growing business.

Our 'Encore T2' mobile shredding vehicle has the capacity to shred 500 tires per hour which are later turned into environmentally friendly products at an Encore processing facility. Merklinger says Encore will have more immediate financial information available to it by combining Fleet Management with Encore's financial management systems. "This is vital to managing a growth curve of up to 300 trucks in service over the next three years."
