Intelleflex Corp. is now offering its line of extended-capability radio frequency identification (RFID) products in South Korea. The vendor said it has experienced growing interest in RFID-based applications in Korea over the past year. Its Intelligent RFID Platform applies RFID technology to areas such as high-value asset tracking, yard management, parts maintenance and reusable transport item tracking. The regional expansion follows the recent introduction of Intelleflex's products into Europe, and the opening of an office serving the Europe-Middle East-Africa (EMEA) region. Intelleflex's extended-capability RFID technology is designed for use in environments such as large coverage areas, outdoor operations, those with metallic objects (which reflect radio-frequency energy) or liquids. For the South Korean market, Intelleflex engineered its products to align with the authorized frequency band used in the region.
