Inovis and Aligntrac Solutions, Inc. have formed an alliance to provide Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) connectivity to the 1SYNCH Data Pool. The move is aimed at customers who are using Inovis's product data-synchronization platform, the Inovis Catalogue. The tool allows marketers, manufacturers and suppliers to share their latest product information, such as price, style, color, size and more than 540 additional product attributes. The Inovis Catalogue lists more than 100 million current and unique items from more than 5,000 vendors, manufacturers, suppliers and their retail customers. The alliance with Aligntrac will extend the reach of the Inovis Catalogue by allowing vendors to exchange product information with retailers who are part of the GDSN, the two companies said. Aligntrac's Sync/PDI platform, available in both hosted and a behind-the-firewall versions, includes multiple features to streamline data synchronization. It allows companies to organize, cleanse and synchronize their product information with retailers. Inovis offers business community-management products that help companies to transact, collaborate and optimize communications with their entire trading communities.
