Honeywell International has devised a "Service Made Simple" service program, offering device-repair coverage with rapid turnaround for all of the company's handheld scanners and Dolphin Mobile Computers. Under the program, devices will be repaired by qualified Honeywell technicians for any problems arising from normal wear and tear or accidental breakage, including parts and labor. In addition, Honeywell guarantees three-day service turnaround and overnight return shipping. Value-added maintenance is also part of the new program, with the company guaranteeing that all devices sent for service automatically receive any pending engineering changes, such as firmware upgrades, at no extra cost. Service Made Simple is being offered in both three- and five-year programs, based on a product's standard warranty duration.
