Embraer, the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, has chosen Accenture and Servigistics to head the implementation of a service parts management solution.
Accenture is providing Embraer with supply chain systems integration services and expertise, process design capabilities, spare-parts capability enhancement services, and training. Servigistics is providing its Service Parts Management Software solution and professional services to automate and improve Embraer's service parts planning techniques.
Embraer will use the solution worldwide in its commercial, defense and executive aviation markets.

Embraer is reportedly the world's largest manufacturer of commercial jets up to 120 seats, and one of Brazil's leading exporters.
