The transportation and logistics company Transfix announced November 14 that it had launched its Request-for-proposal (RFP) Manager tool. Transfix said that this new feature will allow companies to manage an RFP in just minutes.

The RFP Manager is equipped with a centralized dashboard that allows shippers to manage and oversee all aspects of freight procurement.

It also features an automated bidding process that invites brokers and carriers to place bids once an RFP is launched. Once the bidding process ends, companies can compare carrier bids and immediately sign contracts with the winning parties.

"The RFP process has long been outdated and in need of an innovative overhaul," said Jonathan Salama, Co-founder and CEO of Transfix. "I'm incredibly excited to bring a product to the market that empowers both shippers and their suppliers and sets a new bar for freight procurement solutions."
