Will generative artificial intelligence be the salvation or damnation of humanity?

GenAI has come upon the world so fast that we’ve hardly had time to catch our breath and formulate a rational answer to the big question: In the end, is it a threat or boon to the world as we know it? What’s certain, though, is the radical nature of GenAI — “The most powerful technology that humans have ever had access to.” Those are the words of today’s guest, futurist and GenAI expert Bernard Marr, author of the new book Generative AI in Practice: 100+ Amazing Ways Generative Artificial Intelligence Is Changing Business and Society. Marr’s take on the technology is strongly positive, but he’s not blind to its potential downside.
