RedTail Solutions, which provides electronic trading solutions for EDI and data synchronization, says it will expand the retail data available to customers using its pilot RedTail Supply Chain Visibility Portal by utilizing data from the VeriSign Intelligent Supply Chain Services platform.
Data from VeriSign will provide information about the order and fulfillment lifecycle of products moving through the supply chain. RedTail, Westborough, Mass., also plans to use VeriSign services to develop new offerings that utilize EDI and GDS data with point-of-sale data and RFID product movement data to deliver end-to-end visibility of products within the supply chain.
