The action incorporates the latest changes in the national transportation infrastructure, including updates to routing points, zip codes, highway exit numbers and commercially restricted routes. Prophesy has also increased and updated fuel-stop listings for use with its fuel-optimization software, Prophesy FuelLogic, including amenities, contact information and ownership status. The North American Road Network Database is licensed exclusively to users of Prophesy MileageSeries software, and is regularly updated to reflect the latest changes on the nation's roads. Prophesy Mileage & Routing is a commercial truck-routing system which can calculate both industry-standard rating (ISR) and practical miles and map routes to more than one million points throughout North America. It considers such elements as height restrictions, low-weight bridges, low underpasses and seasonal road closures. It also automates such tasks as looking up mileage and quoting rates over the phone, optimizing routes for multiple-stop trips, estimating driving times and miles, and finding the shortest possible driving distance.
