SpringCM, Inc., a seller of on-demand document management and workflow applications, has developed version 5.0 of SpringCM. Based on the concept of software-as-a-service (SaaS), the tool allows companies to deploy multiple applications across different workgroups within an organization. In addition, SpringCM said, value-added resellers can build repeatable, cost-effective applications for their customers. SpringCM has integrated some 22 enterprise content management (ECM) technologies embracing imaging, document capture, search, version control, business-process automation, fax, e-mail and records management. Users can automate key business processes, such as accounts payable; logistics; contract, proposal and records management, and compliance. The platform enables integration with third-party software such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM). Once an application is tested and approved, it can be cloned to any SpringCM user account, allowing broad access to the same application. SpringCM also announced creation of the SpringCM Solutions Central partner ecosystem program. Drawing on the rapid-development environment of the SpringCM platform, premier partners include Clickability, Conversion Technologies International, MACH 2 Solutions and Pitney Bowes Government Solutions.
