Serec, a national retail brand distributor, reports that it is using the Priya warehouse management system from Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Motek in its 100,000-square-foot warehouse. The distributor seeks to improve productivity by 25 percent or more, in addition to meeting clients' radio frequency and EDI needs, at its facility in City of Industry, Calif.
"Priya's fundamental design gives us the ability to quickly and easily interface to our clients' EDI systems, without relying on an outside consultant," says Ed Nelsas, operations manager for Serec. "Functionally, it is a feature-rich WMS solution that is virtually turn-key in terms of training and deployment."
Serec clients are said to include CVS Pharmacy, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sears, Target, Wal-Mart, and Williams Sonoma.
