CMA CGM is introducing a direct call to Vietnam as part of its FAL3 service between Asia and Northern Europe. With 10 vessels of between 8,500 and 9,500 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), the route serves all major regions of China. It will call westbound at Vietnam's new deepwater port of Cai Mep. In addition to serving the local market, CMA CGM will cover the secondary Vietnamese ports of Haiphong, Danang and Qui Nhon through dedicated feeders. The rotation of the 70-day service will be Qingdao, Ningbo, Chiwan, Nansha, Yantian, Cai Mep, Port Kelang, Malta, Le Havre, Dunkirk, Zeebrugge, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge, Southampton, Beirut, Jeddah, Port Kelang and Qingdao.
