Solution: We transitioned our customer's three DCs from competitors, two within a four month period. The transitions involved more than 600 personnel, technologies, and operations. Our project team implemented the distribution operations and the technology team integrated our proprietary WMS, D-Log®, to prepare for the switchover to SAP at two of the DCs.

We deployed two miles of conveyance automation and voice technologies at the third DC, which also featured the launch of RedPrairie® DLx to better sync with the highly complex and mechanized conveyor control system.

Results: Across the network, there was: A 30 percent improvement in critical performance metrics; 99 percent shipment accuracy; 99.4 percent inventory accuracy; 100 percent on-time receiving; 99.4 percent inventory synchronization; 99.3 percent line and case fill rates.
