Crowley now maintains a total of nearly 120,000 square feet of warehouse space on the island. The company said it is also investing in its fleet of equipment and an online cargo-management system to provide customers in Puerto Rico with complete supply-chain visibility. Its Web-based management system provides real-time information on tracking and receiving, product allocations, order processing, inventory control and delivery confirmation. In another recent company announcement, Crowley has added consolidated ocean and air-cargo service to St. Kitts and Nevis from several points within the U.S., including the Miami, Fla., DC, which serves as its Caribbean gateway. The new services will complement Crowley's existing full-containerload ocean services from the U.S., along with its shipping and logistics services from Puerto Rico.
