If this utility could run more quickly, it could minimize, and even eliminate, the need for Emergency Replen. By removing unnecessary routines and by tuning others, DMLogic consultants were able to drop the run time from six hours to just under one hour!

Results: Using Area Replenishment allows the operation to restock locations, while minimizing the need for Emergency Replens improving throughput. And since Area Replenishment uses some of the same routines that the WMS incorporates into Putaway finding the right putaway location is also faster.
