The reader uses Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology, allowing for Class 1 or 2 configuration via software. It features a long-lasting battery that provides more than one shift of intensive scanning, and a three-second battery charge when needed, Datalogic said. The cradle charger offers a variety of options, such as additional battery slots and multiple interfaces. The imager cradle supports up to four devices connected in a Piconet. The PowerScan 9500 series also features "Green Spot" technology, allowing for visual good-read feedback and Motionix motion-sensing capability.
