Solution: The customer implemented the Acsis cloud-based Serialization Management and Partner Management solutions. This dynamic combination enabled the customer to uniquely identify each container that the product was stored in and then track that product through the supply chain.
Results: By combining the serialization data of each saleable unit along with end customer information into one system, this customer was able to spot any potential diversion or counterfeiting issues with the distribution of the product in real time. In addition, by better understanding the flow of product through the supply chain the customer was able to plan manufacturing and distribution activities to better support their customer base.
