The 13.6-meter, tri-axle units are being supplied by Montracon and Schmitz Cargobull. All will feature a 2.6-meter internal loading height, one-piece sealed aluminum floors for ease of cleaning, and Carrier Vector 1550s refrigeration units, coupled with Datacold temperature recorders and printers. Ryder Europe already has nearly 400 refrigerated trailers in its rental fleet; the additions are in response to a high level of customer demand, according to vice president and managing director David Hunt.
