Solution: We installed a White Twin Bin® horizontal carousel system with light trees and a software system called MailPro. The carousel system increased mail slots from 1,700 to 3,000 and the software eliminated data entry by replacing with barcode scanning.

Results: Short-term investment with long-term ROI.  Payback was realized in six months. The addition of 1,300 slots increased productivity and reduced time spent sorting and retrieving mail manually. The system eliminated the need to move or expand the building, purchase additional mailing shelves and increase the number of employees to keep the mailroom running properly.
