Under the agreement, Kuehne & Nagel will handle the logistics for Corning's customers out of a new distribution center in Shanghai, in the Yangshan Free Trade Port Area. Services will include the consolidation of intercontinental sea freight shipments from Corning Life Sciences' global locations, warehousing, pick and pack, and distribution of products for the Asia-Pacific market. Establishing the operation within the Shanghai Free Trade zone area will allow for more efficient and cost-effective handling.
