Sato International Pte. Ltd., a vendor of automatic identification and data-collection systems, has established three new regional headquarters. They are now operating as Sato International Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. in Singapore; Sato International Europe N.V. in Sint-Stevens-Woluwe, Belgium, and Sato International America, Inc. in Charlotte, N.C., U.S.A. Sato acquired L'Etiquetage Rationnel S.A. in France in 2004, and the former METO BCS businesses from Checkpoint Systems, Inc. and Walker Datavision in New Zealand, both in 2006. Under Sato International, 17 subsidiaries do business in 22 countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania. The three regional headquarters will manage affairs within their respective countries as well as on a regional basis. They will help to set corporate policy and sales strategy by region, while providing marketing, technical and production support, and guiding business administration, the company said. Sato makes a variety of products related to barcode printing, labeling, and radio frequency identification (RFID) technology.
