Huttig Building Products, a leading domestic distributor of millwork, building materials and wood products, reportedly ceased implementation of a competing ERP system and instead upgraded to the latest version of Infor ERP SX.enterprise.
Infor says that the built-in business-specific capabilities, lower total cost of ownership, scalability of Infor ERP SX.enterprise, and Infor's domain expertise in the distribution market were strong factors in Huttig's decision to reinvest in its Infor solution. The developer reports that Huttig is benefiting from consolidated invoicing, streamlined order entry processes and tally functionality.
