The new warehouse management system from Accellos boasts new features that address customer needs for simpler system installation, standardized shipping procedures and more powerful international language support.

"Some of these features expand existing capabilities while others are advanced system elements that allow Accellos WMS users to manage material storage and shipment more effectively and to get more work done faster with less effort," says Ross Elliott, executive vice president and chief technology officer. "We continue to reduce the level of manual activity related to system installation, testing and operation while advancing overall system performance and flexibility."

The new version observes Microsoft standards and results in a more intuitive installation process. Companies engaged in international commerce will find the system has expanded regional and language options. Previously limited to a half-dozen language options for currencies, dates, times and decimals, this latest version now supports all regional and language options.

Shipping interfaces for Federal Express, UPS and Easyship are now integrated and standardized in the solution and preconfigured on both the shipper and carrier sides. A new bill of lading station enables capture of signatures electronically, with support for two BOL signatures: one for driver sign-in and one for sign-out. Two printable image fields have been added to the BOL table.
