Solution: Flash collaborated with the client to identify models, part numbers and processes to screen units during all receipts (inventory and returns). All PS in question were replaced in a global service center; all suspect PS were collected and returned directly to the manufacturer. Units with newer PS were reported to the client, making it easier to track and confirm correct revisions.
Results: The client continues to screen units in the U.S. and EU — citing easy management, cost savings and 100-percent issue containment.
