Oco Inc., which offers business intelligence and data integration solutions, is introducing a new suite of BI solutions designed to meet the needs of mid-sized companies in the industrial products and consumer packaged goods manufacturing industries. Oco Industrial Products Solution and Oco Consumer Packaged Goods Solution contain modules with dashboards, reports and key performance indicators in areas such as sales and profitability, sourcing and procurement, inventory, and quality and production.
Oco says that Welch's is using its Consumer Packaged Goods Transportation & Logistics module to gain visibility into shipments, orders and associated costs.
"We spend millions of dollars each year in transportation, so it is critical that we have deep, detailed visibility into our distribution system," says Bill Coyne, director of purchasing and logistics for Welch's. "Oco's solution allows us to extract and see integrated data from three different systems.
