Developed for Windows 8, Syspro 7 features numerous improvements to the user interface, with active tiles and touch capabilities. As a result, the company said, manufacturers and distributors can more easily create tailor-fit environments for their ERP systems. Using a cloud infrastructure, Syspro's deployment methodology will enable Syspro 7 to be installed remotely with a single click. In a related announcement, Syspro has made available its Espresso mobile platform for mid-sized manufacturing and distribution companies. The new mobile tool draws on HTML 5 and Microsoft technology and tools. The vendor supports multiple mobile and desktop devices, allowing for easy user customization and scalability via its component-based Quantum Architecture.
