Quintiq, a vendor based in the Netherlands and selling software for advanced planning and scheduling (APS) and supply-chain management, has opened North American headquarters in Wayne, Penn. The new unit, Quintiq Inc., will serve the company's growing markets in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. It will also act as a local point of contact for project implementation and customer support, for new and existing customers. The office will be headed up by Joachim Arts, Anko van Kreij and Paul-Erik Raue. Quintiq's existing North American customers include NVACanada, Alcoa, Novelis, Logan Aluminum and Dofasco. The company has additional subsidiaries in Germany, the U.K., Finland, Malaysia and Australia.
