Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, the second-largest Coke bottler in the U.S., has upgraded its JDA Software supply chain management solutions to Version 7.4, including JDA Demand, JDA Fulfillment and JDA Transportation Planning.
With use of the software, Coca-Cola Consolidated achieved substantial inventory reductions while also delivering significant improvements in customer service levels, says David Johnston, JDA Software senior vice president of manufacturing and wholesale distribution.
He says that sales from new product introductions also improved greatly.
