Quiet 3PF Unveils New Fulfillment Center in Dallas

June 23, 2021
SupplyChainBrain

Quiet 3PF, an outsourced fulfillment partner to premium and lifestyle brands, announced the opening of its first fulfillment center in Texas. The facility, which is located at 10750 Denton Dr. in Dallas and became fully operational in February 2021, enables Quiet’s partner brands to reach over 8 million shoppers through same-day delivery and over 32 million shoppers through next-day delivery.

Quiet-Dallas is the first facility developed from the ground up by Greenfield Partners, LLC, which acquired Quiet 3PF along with Related Fund Management in 2018. The facility uses multi-level, mezzanine-style space, which enables humans and autonomous mobile robots to manage inventory vertically without relying on ladders or lifts.

The warehouse’s layout positions inventory on either end of the facility with processing and outbound stations located in its center. Over 35% of the facility’s exterior walls allow in natural light, a material improvement on the typical 3-5% that a standard warehouse allows. The facility is expected to earn LEED Certification by meeting and exceeding natural daylighting, energy performance and indoor environment requirements.

“Our urban infill real estate strategy enables Quiet to meet consumers where they are,” said Gene Gorab, Executive Chairman, Quiet 3PF, and President and CEO, Greenfield Partners, LLC. “By positioning our fulfillment centers near and in high-density population centers, we offer our brand partners all of the benefits of storefront fulfillment without the associated rent, labor and other fixed costs.”

“As the future of fulfillment continues to require more real estate in urban centers, warehouse design must utilize vertical capacity effectively. Quiet continues to expand its leadership role in Dallas with this innovative design, and we believe it’s the right model for our digitally-native brand partners who cater to more urban consumers,” said Kate Klemmer Terry, Chief Revenue Officer, Quiet 3PF. “We’re excited to be at the forefront of warehouse development and are confident that our technology and other strategic initiatives will continue to provide unmatched support for our omnichannel partners as they scale.”

The facility has over 550,000 square feet of capacity and will employ approximately 400 people. With a combination of high-density, multichannel inventory storage, autonomous mobile robots and active order picking for 100% of available inventory, Quiet’s Dallas fulfillment hub is expected to process over 22 million orders annually.
