GT Nexus has entered into a strategic alliance with Integration Point, Inc. to provide a number of global trade and logistics services, including software offered in a hosted mode. GT Nexus operates a trade and logistics-management portal for buyers, sellers, banks and logistics providers, connecting physical and financial supply chains on a single platform. The company claims more than 40,000 registered users from more than 15,000 organizations. Integration Point is a vendor of global trade-management software, with an emphasis on regulatory compliance. Users can access compliance data on free trade agreement regulations, denied-party lists and tax policies for multiple countries. Critical information from separate systems, such as logistics, enterprise resource planning, warehouse management and local country databases, is integrated to create a global trade network. Both GT Nexus and Integration Point deliver their applications over the Web, through an on-demand model. Customers pay only for the services they need at the time, and can ramp up at their own pace. In addition, there are no supporting systems or hardware to buy, manage and maintain. Users get access to key trade-management tools and information at any time, the companies said.
