Supply chain visibility provider Tive has released its updated Solo Lite shipment tracker. 

The technology helps ocean carriers track the location of shipments, monitor the temperature inside containers with sensitive goods, and identify light exposure that would indicate tampering or attempted theft. All of this data is also collected in real-time and can be accessed instantly on Tive's cloud platform.

“Tive’s quest to provide cost-effective shipment tracking and visibility solutions will help us gather even more ground truth data on what's happening with our shipments," said Erez Agmoni, the global head of innovation at Maersk, an early adopter of the tracker. 

Solo Lite has global coverage in more than 186 countries, and includes a more environmentally-friendly non-lithium battery-powered option.
