Megan Junker has been named the Women in Trucking Association's (WIT) member of the month for July of 2024. 

Junker is the product director for electric vehicles at PACCAR Parts, having started with the company in 2018, working with dealer groups, before moving up the ranks to work on the supplier side where she oversees business development, product launches and retail performance for electric vehicles and charging. 

"In her career, Junker has witnessed and actively contributed to the trucking industry embracing new technology," the WIT says. "Her unwavering enthusiasm for the products she represents and their crucial economic applications in the field is truly infectious."

Junker has also made a career out of mentoring younger women in the traditionally male dominated trucking industry. Having only recently gotten the opportunity to work under her first female mentor, "her being there for me has inspired me to be there for other women," she says. 

“Perhaps because we are not always the majority in the room, we understand what it is like not to be the majority," Junker says. "Therefore, we really support each other by bringing each other into the middle. We have the empathy to support each other."

Junker has a degree in marketing from St. Bonaventure University and an MBA from Ohio University. Her hobbies include gardening, backpacking, skiing and snowboarding.
