PivotLink Corp., a vendor of on-demand business intelligence software, has made generally available PivotLink BI for users of the Salesforce CRM (Customer Relationship Management) application. The BI tool provides an easy-to-use application, which unifies all Salesforce.com data, combines it with any outside data source, and presents the information with dashboards and customizable reports. According to PivotLink, users of the Salesforce.com application can overcome reporting silos and combine information across any time period and large data sets. Users can build or modify reports with a drag-and-drop interface. They can define their own metrics, analyze trends from any angle and share results in dashboards or in reports. PivotLink is immediately available for testing and deployment on the Force.com AppExchange. The vendor provides on-demand BI through its PivotLink Solutions and PivotLink Framework data platform.
