Transite Technology, a provider of software and services for the management of logistics and shipping costs, has enhanced its Contract Manager product to support international parcel shipping. The Contract Manager International Parcel Module gives customers access to return rates to more than 140 countries at all major service levels, while maintaining discounts by service level and individual country. Transite's My Freight Portal, Contract Manager and other products help companies to obtain the lowest-cost methods and carriers for each customer order. At the same time, Transite said, they can boost visibility of the entire shipping process. Over the last two months, Transite has signed agreements to widen its sales presence among SAP clients, as well as introduced a joint-venture company, Innova, which targets brokers and shippers in the less-than-truckload market.
