RedTail Solutions, Inc., a provider of managed services for electronic data interchange (EDI) and global data synchronization to mid-market suppliers, has added three modules to its managed EDI service for Microsoft Dynamics GP. RedTail is now offering the ability automatically to generate an outbound EDI purchase order (850) transaction from the POP module in Microsoft Dynamics GP. Purchase orders entered into Microsoft Dynamics GP will be translated via RedTail into the outbound 850 transaction, and transmitted to EDI-enabled suppliers. Invoices (810) received from suppliers can be reconciled against EDI purchase orders. In addition, users can now generate outbound advance ship notice (856) transactions based on completed shipment or open-order from the SOP module in Dynamics GP. And they can automatically generate outbound warehouse shipping order (940) transactions from the SOP module in Dynamics GP. RedTail's managed services are meant to optimize the order-to-cash cycle for mid-market manufacturers and distributors selling to large trading partners such as Wal-Mart and The Home Depot.
