Business intelligence software sales have stormed by over 20 percent over last year with revenues topping $8.8bn, according to latest market assessments.
Gartner has found that sales of BI platform, analytic applications and performance management software revenue grew 21.7 percent from $7.2bn a year ago, with SAP estimated to hold a market share of 23.8 percent following its acquisition of Business Objects.
