Laufer Group International's New Kansas City Bonded Container Freight Station Offers Expanded Services

December 3, 2008
The Laufer Group

NEW YORK, NY, December 3, 2008 - Laufer Group International, a Global Logistics Management company headquartered in New York City, is pleased to announce the opening of a new expanded full service Customs Bonded Container Freight Station in Kansas City, Missouri.  At the new 50,000 square foot C-TPAT, USDA, and FDA certified facility, Laufer Group International will provide comprehensive domestic drayage and delivery programs, customs clearance, short and long term warehousing options, cross-docking/transloading as well as many other consolidated freight services.

This new Laufer facility will continue to offer the Asia-Midwest Direct Consolidation program serving the multi-state region - including Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Arkansas and Oklahoma.  This service provides LCL importers considerably faster transit time - up to 10 days - and more security than the competition.  Customers have the flexibility to consolidate destination deliveries from different Asian origins and are able to achieve substantial savings on domestic transportation.

"We are excited about our expansion in Kansas City and believe that our expanded services will better serve our customer's needs," says Bryan Martsching, Director of Business Development for the Laufer Group.

"Our ability to offer direct consolidations from Asia, to our own facility, and perform full scale warehouse and distribution services drives efficiencies and savings for our customers.  As Kansas City continues to grow and develop as a leading intermodal and distribution center, we are poised to deliver a powerful value proposition," continued Martsching.

For over 20 years Laufer has had an established Chinese logistics network in key cities such as Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong, as well as key Taiwanese facilities in Kaohsiung, Keelung and Taichung.

The new facility is located at 7007 NE Parvin Road in Kansas City, Missouri.  64117.  Telephone and fax numbers will remain the same, ph:  816-421-2233, fax:  816-421-2426.  For additional information please call Brian Brockman at 816-421-2233, or e-mail [email protected]
