Intel's supply chain was designed for an environment in which semiconductor demand consistently outpaced supply. When that equation reversed after 2000, Intel needed to establish a new culture and to implement customer-driven processes and performance. Central to that effort was its Just Say Yes program, which dramatically improved customer responsiveness while decreasing inventory.
