CEVA Logistics, a third-party provider of logistics and supply-chain services, is expanding into West Africa and Central Asia. The new service areas will be managed under the company's Southern Europe, Middle East & Africa (SEMEA) region. CEVA said the decision was a response to demand from its growing customer base in the energy sector. It decided to establish its own offices in West Africa, and has incorporated its own subsidiaries in Angola, Congo and Nigeria. At the same time, CEVA has created its own network of offices in Central Asia, focusing in particular on Kazakhstan, with headquarters in Almaty and a branch in Aktau. The Almaty office will also serve as the coordination point for operations in Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. CEVA will offer a wide range of services, including warehouse and hub management, air and ocean transportation, charters and heavy lift, turnkey project management, customs brokerage, domestic distribution and ship's agency and vessel husbandry.
