Crowley Maritime Corp. has launched a weekly express service for less-than-containerload (LCL) freight from Houston, TX to Puerto Rico. Transit time is 11 days. Upon arrival in Puerto Rico, shipments can be delivered to consignee's door from Crowley's warehouse, using dedicated island trucking services. Additional logistics services include customs brokerage, warehousing and distribution, cross-docking, pick and pack, air-freight consolidation, on-island residential deliveries and cargo insurance. Any cargo needing to be shipped into the Caribbean from Puerto Rico can be relayed to surrounding islands - including Antigua, St. Kitts/Nevis, Anguilla, St. Eustatius, St. Bart's, Montserrat and Saba - on Crowley vessels. In launching the weekly service, Crowley's logistics providers are working with Jarvis International Freight, a Crowley subsidiary specializing in international freight management and logistics.
