The total freighter number includes 940 new planes and 1,820 conversion freighters. The majority of the passenger-plane demand will come in the form of single-aisle craft. Boeing is also expecting a demand for 7,950 twin-aisle planes at a cost of $2.08bn, according to the just-released 2012 Current Market Outlook.
